Divina Gravità
A fashion capsule and illustration series inspired by Herbert Draper.
Divina Gravità is a mythological capsule collection inspired by Herbert Draper’s The Lament for Icarus (1898). It explores the space between rising and falling, desire and vulnerability, through four characters: the Minotaur, Icarus, the Sun and the Siren.
Heavy textures like raw linen, dark leather and faux fur meet flowing silks, organza and satin. The collection grew out of an initial moodboard, sketchbook studies, technical flats and mixed-media fashion illustrations.
It started with a physical moodboard: Draper’s painting, the sun and the sea, and the mythological figures around them.
Each character has its full look, with the technical flats and accessories drawn alongside. Click any board to see it up close.
It all comes together in one final piece: Icarus falling between the sun and the sea.
